Rental Safety Checks
Safety requirements imposed by the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act in March 2021 require all Victorian rental properties to undertake mandatory safety checks, including annual smoke alarm servicing, and gas and electrical safety checks every 2 years.
We make it very easy for you with no set-up fees and no lock-in contracts. We can even provide a portal to store the reports for you to access.
Our safety checks are completed by licensed plumbers and licensed electricians.

Price is per property, based on a standard 2 bedroom apartment:
Gas Safety Check and Report
$379 + GST
Our qualified gas fitters provide a comprehensive service and safety check of the gas appliances, installations and fittings at the property, to protect occupants from harm caused by carbon monoxide leaks.
Electrical Safety Check and Report
$379 + GST
Our qualified electricians provide a comprehensive service and safety check of the switchboard and electrical appliances at the property, to protect occupants from harm caused by electrical faults.
Smoke Detector Check and Report
$99 + GST
Our trained technicians inspect smoke detectors annually, replace 9V batteries, and check correct placement within the dwelling. Pricing does not include replacing the smoke detector unit if required (usually once every 10 years, or if unit is faulty).
