SAFE AUDIT PACKAGE
Changes to the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act and its regulations that came into effect on 29 March 2021 mean mandatory safety checks must be carried out regularly for all rental properties, including annual smoke alarm servicing, and gas and electrical safety checks every two years. Stay compliant with a Safe Audit Package for only $420 + GST, which includes the following:
Gas Safety Audit – Our qualified gas fitters provide a comprehensive service and safety check of the gas appliances, installations and fittings at the property, to protect occupants from harm caused by carbon monoxide leaks.
Electrical Safety Audit – Our qualified electricians provide a comprehensive service and safety check of the electrical appliances, installations and fittings at the property, to protect occupants from harm caused by electrical faults.
Smoke Alarms – Our trained technicians inspect smoke detectors annually to replace the battery and check correct placement within the dwelling. This is included in the Safe Audit Package (along with the gas and electrical check) once every 2 years, and for $90 + GST we can return to do a smoke detector safety check every other year. We’ll keep a digital record of the day and time, to ensure that the smoke alarm is checked every year as required.
OTHER WORKS AUDIT
Here’s one for the busy property managers and landlords out there! For $110 + GST, our trained technician can attend your property and provide a comprehensive report with photos regarding other items needing repairs or maintenance at the property. Items include checking for rotted window frames, visible water damage, mould issues, cracks in walls, insufficient heating/cooling, and other issues that you may wish to know about. We can then supply a quote to repair if required.
